Want to share Internet for other devices including mobile phone, PC, camera, music player, etc with computer wireless network features? Its been easy with windows 10, you can create and share hotspot in your windows too. i have got both ways i.e using software and command.
Using software
Creating a wireless
hotspot in Windows 10 is relatively straightforward by using software that is
virtual router. Virtual Router is a free, open source software based router for
PCs running in Windows 8, Windows 7 or Windows Server 2008 R2. Using Virtual
Router, users can wirelessly share any internet connection (Wi-Fi, LAN, Cable
Modem, Dial-up, Cellular, etc.) with any Wi-Fi device (Laptop, Smart Phone,
iPod Touch, iPhone, Android Phone, Zune, Notebook, wireless printer, etc.)
Step 1: Download and
install
Just Google virtual
router or search for software that creates hotspot in windows. Then, download
the software and install on your windows.
Step 2: Configure your network
Open the software and give the network name for the hotspot you want to create and share along with password. Now, you can start your connection.
Step 3: Make sure
connection sharing is enabled
Make sure you're sharing preferences are properly enabled. To do that, first search in the Start menu for "View network connections." Find the connection you want to share (Ethernet or Wi-Fi) and right-click on the device. Choose "Properties". look at the "Sharing" tab and make sure the box "Allow other network users to connect through this computer's Internet connection" is checked. Now it’s all right.
Step 4: Connect from
another device and close when done
you can connect to your
laptop's new WiFi hotspot as usual. The network name should show up. Just
select it and enter in the password. The Virtual Router app will show other
computers connecting through it when it's in use. It'll show the IP address of
the device and its MAC address. You can now close the software or stop network
sharing also.
